Postseason hero Marco Scutaro has agreed to return to the Giants on a three-year deal worth $20 million, Insider Andrew Baggarly has confirmed.
Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports first tweeted news of the contract agreement.
Scutaro, 37, earned a raise by hitting .362 with the Giants following a mid-season trade from the Rockies. He also earned NLCS MVP honors by hitting .500 with four RBI in the Giants' seven-game series win over the Cardinals.
