Will the Giants be buyers or sellers?
The Aug. 31 trade deadline is rapidly approaching, and whether San Francisco will add for a playoff push or subtract to further rebuild the farm system remains to be seen. A new report, however, would seem to suggest the Giants are leaning towards the former.
MLB Network's Jon Heyman reported Saturday that the Giants are one of multiple teams believed to have interest in acquiring Boston Red Sox outfielder Jackie Bradley Jr.

Bradley Jr., 30, is slashing .253/.317/.363 with two home runs and 10 RBI across 91 at-bats for the lowly Red Sox this season. He did hit 21 homers last season, though, and could potentially help the Giants in their effort to improve against right-handed pitching.

As Heyman suggested, it's possible that Boston will end up holding onto Bradley Jr. But with the worst record in the AL, the Red Sox have every reason to play for the future.
