Amazing stats from Webb's historic performance in Game 1

Buster Posey chatted with Shawn Estes following the Giants’ Game 1 win over the Dodgers to go over his HR and discuss Logan Webb’s “dominant” performance.

Logan Webb was absolutely masterful in his postseason debut against the Los Angeles Dodgers. 

And that might be putting it lightly. 

The 24-year-old blanked the Dodgers for 7 2/3 innings while striking out 10 batters in Game 1 of the NLDS.

It was an historic night for the Giants' righty. 

If that second tweet doesn't make you feel some sort of 2010s Giants nostalgia, then I don't know what will. 

Tim Lincecum in 2010, Madison Bumgarner in 2014 and Logan Webb in 2021. Could there end up being a common denominator with each of these three seasons?

The Giants rode Webb's masterful outing to a 4-0 win over the rival Dodgers, taking a 1-0 series lead in the NLDS.

With Kevin Gausman on the mound Saturday for Game 2 of the series, the Giants are hoping for more of the same from the elder of San Francisco's two aces.
