Outfielder Juan Perez has signed a minor league contract with the Cubs, the team announced on Tuesday. Terms of the deal were not released.
Perez has spent the last three years in the Giants organization, splitting time between the big league ball club and minor league affiliates. He was a member of San Francisco's World Series Championship roster in 2014.

The 29-year-old played in 117 games in orange and black, batting .224 in 228 at-bats.
San Francisco drafted Perez in the 13th round of the 2008 MLB Draft.
