A hair over two minutes later, Raheem Sterling picked out David Silva's run into the Palace box with a lofted through ball. With no defenders around him, David Silva volleyed with his left foot through Wayne Hennessey's legs to give City a comfortable advantage.
City has now scored 29 goals in nine matches this season. They're nine goals clear of the next-closest club -- at least until Liverpool hosts Manchester United on Sunday.
The Cityzens set a Premier League record two seasons ago with 106 goals in 38 games, and they're on pace to smash that record this season. City scored at least twice in every game in all competitions this season and continues to roll with a trip to face Liverpool at Anfield now less than a month away.
