David Luiz set the tone Tuesday at Stamford Bridge, kicking off a wild draw between Chelsea and Arsenal with a red card that foreshadowed the absurdity to come.
Chelsea supporters are used to Luiz's, uh, ambitious defending, thanks to the Brazilian's two stints in blue. Luiz now wears red, however, and the Arsenal defender saw red when he was sent off in the 26th minute of Tuesday's 2-2 draw in the London Derby.
Shkodran Mustafi's misplayed pass to Arsenal keeper Bernd Leno ended up on the foot of Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham, forcing Leno out to challenge him. Abraham got around Leno, leaving Luiz to desperately defend and referee Stuart Atwell no choice but to send Luiz off.

Jorginho stepped up to the penalty spot after VAR confirmed Luiz's penalty, giving Chelsea a 1-0 lead thanks to his trademark finish.
The red card was only the second of his 14-season career. His first, amazingly, came on the reverse side of Tuesday's fixture.
In his absence, Luiz's teammates managed to equalize twice in the second half and earn a road draw. Eighteen-year-old Gabriel Martinelli did so first, running box-to-box before coolly slotting past outstretched Chelse keeper Kepa Arrizabalaga.
Chelsea took advantage of Arsenal playing a man down six minutes from stoppage time, with an unmarked Cesar Azpilicueta re-directing N'Golo Kante's cross past Leno to give Chelsea a 2-1 lead.
But Arsenal, improbably, would equalize once more.
Gunners manager Mikel Arteta handed Héctor Bellerín his first start since December, and Bellerín rewarded his fellow Spaniard's faith. Bellerín's left-footed shot took a deflection before bouncing in to equalize.

Arsenal remained 10 points back of fourth-place Chelsea thanks to Tuesday's draw, but Arteta and Co. surely will take it after going down a man and a goal within the first half-hour.
Arteta is still looking for his second Premier League win, but this isn't a bad consolation prize.
