One of the English Premier League's most historic rivalries has a fitting place as the league's only match Sunday.
Manchester United hosts Liverpool FC at Old Trafford, as United looks to place the first blemish on the league-leaders' season. Liverpool is undefeated through eight games and five points clear of second-place Manchester City entering the match. Dating back to last season, the club has won its last 17 Premier League matches. A win Sunday would match City's all-time record.
United, meanwhile, have floundered early this season. With just four wins in the last 16 league matches under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Man U are desperate to climb back up the table and knock their rivals down a peg in the process.
