Each week, NHL.com comes out with its Super 16 - a miniature power rankings of the top 16 teams in the league. And this week, the Sharks are a part of the list ... barely.
Sitting at No. 16, the Sharks "can virtually assure themselves a playoff spot with a regulation win in Dallas on Tuesday. However, a regulation loss would be a stiff blow to their postseason aspirations. Ah, life in the Pacific Division," writes NHL.com's Dave Lozo.
In terms of their space on the power rankings, do you believe that the Sharks should be higher than the Coyotes, Sabres or Capitals? Two of those teams jumped into the rankings and skipped right over the Sharks, who sat at 16 last week as well.
