
Darryl Sutter will be introduced as the new head coach of the Los Angeles Kings on Tuesday or Wednesday of next week, according to L.A. Kings insider Rich Hammond.
Hammond writes:
Darryl Sutters multi-year contract has been signed, and he will be publicly introduced as the Kings new coach on Tuesday or Wednesday, a source close to the situation has confirmed. Immigration issues prevent Sutter from immediately joining the team, but he will take over when the team returns to Los Angeles.

Interim head coach John Stevens is expected to stay on staff at least until the end of
the season, according to Hammond.
Sutter was the head coach of the Sharks from 1997-2002, compiling a 192-167-75 record with San Jose.
The Kings visit HP Pavilion on Friday, Dec. 23.
