SAN JOSE – The San Jose Sharks look to close out their six-game homestand on a high note as they host the Vancouver Canucks on Black Friday.
Their last contest ended in a disappointing 4-3 overtime loss to the Edmonton Oilers. Against Edmonton, San Jose lost three leads to the embattled squad, who played for the first time with new coach Ken Hitchcock behind the bench.
The Sharks have collected seven of 10 possible points on the longest homestand of their 2019 campaign and currently sit one point behind the Calgary Flames in the Pacific Division standings.
