Sharks vs. Blue Jackets watch guide: Projected lines and defensive pairs

The San Jose Sharks look to keep rolling along, as their road trip continues through Columbus for a Saturday faceoff against the Blue Jackets.

Team Teal is coming off a statement victory in Pittsburgh, shutting out Sidney Crosby and the Penguins 4-0. Tomas Hertl tallied two goals, Brent Burns registered three points, and Martin Jones stood tall to keep the Pens from finding the back of the net. Points from the win give San Jose 80 points in the division standings, three behind the Calgary Flames.

CBJ is also coming off a shutout victory, silencing the Ottawa Senators 3-0 on Friday evening. That game came just hours after the two teams completed a trade that brought Matt Duchene to Columbus. The Blue Jackets currently sit in third place in the Metropolitan Division with 71 points.

This is the second and final time this season the Sharks and Blue Jackets will play each other, with Columbus winning the first contest 4-1 in San Jose on Nov. 1.

In 58 total meetings between the franchises, San Jose holds a 36-18-0-4 record.
