Its the last day of the NHL's regular season, and the Sharks could still finish in the third, seventh or eighth spot in the Western Conference.
In order to secure the Pacific Division title and automatic third seed that comes with it, the Sharks need the Phoenix Coyotes to lose in regulation to the Minnesota Wild, as well as beat the Los Angeles Kings tonight in any fashion.
San Jose would finish in seventh place if they win and the Coyotes earn at least one point, and would end up in eighth with a loss of any kind tonight to the Kings.

Phoenix, which beat the St. Louis Blues on Friday night, 4-1, would capture its first Pacific Division title with a win over the lowly Wild. The Sharks and Kings should know the outcome right around game time, as faceoff in Minnesota is set for 5:00 PST.
