The Sharks recalled forward Kevin Labanc and defenseman Tim Heed from the Barracuda on Friday, and reassigned forward Ryan Carpenter and defenseman Joakim Ryan.
Labanc and Heed will presumably meet the Sharks in Philadelphia, where they face the Flyers on Saturday afternoon at Wells Fargo Center. The four-game road trip concludes on Sunday in New Jersey.
Labanc, 21, has 14 points (7g, 7a) in 40 games with the Sharks this season. He was reassigned before the road trip primarily to get some practice time in, Sharks director of hockey operations Doug Wilson, Jr. told CSN on Thursday. The Sharks have not practiced on this road trip, and canceled a Friday skate in Philadelphia.

Heed has played one game for the Sharks, his NHL debut, on Jan. 11 in Calgary. He will likely serve as the emergency seventh defenseman.
Carpenter has four points (2g, 2a) in 11 games with the Sharks, while Ryan has yet to make his NHL debut.
