Sharks' Logan Couture leaves game vs. Blues with apparent leg injury

That did not look good.

Arguably the worst possible thing that could happen to the Sharks at this point in a fully disappointing season would be losing one of their marquee players to a serious injury.

Well, the worst might have happened. Sharks captain Logan Couture went awkwardly into the boards early in the second period against the St. Louis Blues on Tuesday night and appeared to sustain an injury to his left knee.

Couture immediately grabbed for his knee and required assistance to get off the ice. He was immediately taken back into San Jose's locker room for further evaluation and did not return to the game.
