The Sharks acquired Daniel Winnik and T.J. Galiardi before the trade deadline Monday.
TSN and ESPN both reported the deal, roughly an hour before the NHL's trade deadline. Comcast SportsNet California's Sharks analyst Bret Hedican confirmed the deal and the Sharks followed that with their own confirmation.
The Sharks sent Jamie McGinn, Mike Connelly, and Michael Sgarbossa to Colorado to complete the deal.
