It will be the third time the Sharks and Predators have met in the postseason. The Sharks knocked off Nashville in five games in the first round in 2006, and again in 2007 by the same margin.
The Sharks were 1-2 against Nashville in three meetings this season, with their lone win coming in a shootout at Bridgestone Arena on 3-2. The Predators beat the Sharks on Oct. 28 in San Jose, 2-1, and again at home on Feb. 6, 6-2.
