Sharks center Andrew Desjardins was fined 2,500 for a hit on Blackhawks defenseman Sami Lepisto in San Jose's 3-2 overtime loss on Sunday, but will not be suspended, according to a report from the Chicago Sun Times.
Desjardins received a two-minute minor for boarding at 2:12 of the first period.
In 26 games this season, Desjardins has two goals and four assists for six points and 25 penalty minutes.
