SAN JOSEThe Sharks achieved a rare feat in Saturdays 5-2 win over the Washington Capitals, as three different defensemen scored goals. It was just the fifth time in franchise history thats happened.
Jason Demers opened the scoring, giving the Sharks a 1-0 second period lead. Brent Burns tallied on the power play late in the second to make it 2-1, while Marc-Edouard Vlasics third period goal was the game-winner.
