ST. PAULFormer Sharks forward Devin Setoguchis difficult first season in Minnesota hit a low point on Tuesday, when he was scratched from the Wild lineup for missing a team meeting in the morning.
He spoke with the Minneapolis Star Tribune the day after the Wilds 5-4 shootout win over San Josejust their second in the last 13 games.
"You feel bad all day. You never want it to happen to you," Setoguchi said. "You've got to be accountable, especially when things aren't going right for the team. It's unacceptable and inexcusable and thankfully enough, I got bailed out by our team with a win. It was nice to watch. It was just too bad I couldn't be out there."

REWIND: Seto scratched for missing meeting
In 30 games with the Wild, Setoguchi has just six goals and eight assists for 14 points. Minnesota has had a trouble in the goal-scoring department, and is 29th in the league with 2.23 per-game.
Setoguchi recently returned from a 12-game absence due to a lower body injury suffered in a game in San Jose on Dec. 6.
