Sharks, SAP Center were part of Jeopardy! Daily Double clue

It’s a major flex to be associated with a clue on Jeopardy! That’s something extremely brag-worthy. Now, the Sharks are part of that list.

During Thursday’s airing of the iconic show, the answer on a Daily Double was:

“Home to an NHL team, the SAP Center in this California city is nicknamed, ‘The Shark Tank.’ ”

The Sharks’ Twitter account responded in the perfect way.

Frame that tweet. Talk about an honor.

The Sharks’ season begins soon and, in addition to the Evander Kane investigation, one of the main questions remains if center Tomas Hertl could be traded before the season ends.

Hertl is in the final season of his four-year contract and him seeing that through will be dependent upon the Sharks’ performance this season.

If you’re a betting person, heading into the season (which officially begins on Oct. 12) the Sharks have the third-worst odds to win the Western Conference at +4000.

It's always hard to tell what will happen and those odds could change, but with Kane’s absence at training camp as the NHL investigates new allegations against him, there will be plenty of storylines on the ice.
