Report: Sharks rejected ‘legitimate' trade offer for Ferraro


Elliotte Friedman is spilling the tea on Trade Deadline deals that didn’t happen.

And the San Jose Sharks were at the center of a lot of them.

Friedman and Jeff Marek dropped these nuggets on their “32 Thoughts” podcast on Monday:

Marek said that the Sharks were interested in Jordan Greenway, who went from the Minnesota Wild to the Buffalo Sabres for a 2023 second-round pick and a 2024 fifth-round pick. That seems like a high price for a 26-year-old with just two goals this season and two more years on his contract at $3 million AAV, but the 6-foot-6 physical winger is thought to have untapped scoring potential. He would’ve been an interesting “buy low”, and maybe the type of player that GM Mike Grier looks for in the off-season.
