The NHL's Expansion Draft is taking place Wednesday night, but leaks already are coming out regarding who will join the Seattle Kraken. And it appears the Sharks are losing a young forward.

The Athletic's Pierre LeBrun reported Wednesday morning that the Kraken will take Alexander True.

While True is a bit of an unknown name right now, he does have experience playing in the Pacific Northwest as he played for the Seattle Thunderbirds of the Canadian Hockey League.

True, 24, played seven games last season for the Sharks, and dished out an assist. He had four assists the previous season over 12 games with San Jose. True also scored 20 points -- nine goals and 11 assists -- in 27 games for the San Jose Barracuda last season.
