When it rains, it certainly does pour for the Sharks.
Losers of 10 of their last 12 games after Saturday's 3-1 loss to the Boston Bruins at SAP Center, the Sharks losing ways have only been amplified after a slew of injuries to key players up and down the roster.

Both the losses and the injuries continue to pile up for the Sharks, who are now forced to plug another hole after Ferraro's injury against the Bruins.
Coach Bob Boughner expressed his frustrations after the game.
"No update," Boughner said when asked about Ferraro. "I know they are checking him out. We'll probably know a little more tomorrow morning, but it's just one after another. We talked about that this morning, I think 12 defencemen we've gone through already. That's the other thing, we've got eight regulars out of our lineup if you start considering [Nicolas] Meloche, [Jaycob Megna], [Erik] Karlsson, [Kevin] Labanc, [Nikolai] Knyzhov, [Rudolfs Balcers, I mean the list goes on and on. It's tough to keep plugging holes every night.
"I'll give credit to the guys, I thought they played hard and competed hard. We just have to find a way to come back tomorrow and play a smart game on a back-to-back."
