Bordeleau makes NHL debut, out to prove he can help Sharks

It’s been a whirlwind for Thomas Bordeleau.

Just 10 days ago, he was in Boston for the Frozen Four. Four days ago, he was making his pro debut with the San Jose Barracuda. And now, he’s making his NHL debut for the San Jose Sharks this evening in Minnesota.

The 20-year-old is just trying to take it all in.

“It only happens once,” Bordeleau said. “It’s a special moment for myself and my family.”

Speaking of family, Thomas Bordeleau’s parents Sebastian and Chantal made it to Minnesota, and the Bordeleau family had dinner yesterday.
