Mitchell gets look on No. 2 line

With Martin Havlat still hurting, Todd McLellan has been doing some experimenting with the vacancy on the Sharks second line. First, it was Tommy Wingels skating with Logan Couture and Ryane Clowe in the Sharks first two games.

McLellan must not have liked that combo, however, as Wingels was a healthy scratch on Saturday against St. Louis. Instead, it was Torrey Mitchell who got promoted, so to speak. Mitchell played the first two games on the third line.

Mitchell looked comfortable and even registered an assist on Brent Burns goal in the second period.
