SAN JOSE – Forward Mikkel Boedker will see his first game action with the Sharks as they host the Ducks in their final home preseason game on Wednesday night.
Boedker is expected to skate with center Tomas Hertl and right wing Joonas Donskoi, although Logan Couture is likely to center that line when the regular season begins in one week.
The 26-year-old Boedker signed a four-year, $16 million contract in the offseason.

Martin Jones will make his second preseason start, and will be backed up by Aaron Dell.
Although it would seem that Dell is set to be the backup to Jones on Oct. 12, coach Pete DeBoer indicated on Tuesday that nothing was officially decided yet.
“I don’t think we’re at opening-night roster decisions yet. We’ve still got three games to play here,” DeBoer said on Tuesday. “[Dell is] going to play again, and that will be a decision we’ll take all the time that’s available to us to make.”
The Sharks are 3-0 in the preseason with three straight 3-2 overtime wins. They conclude their six-game slate in Arizona on Friday and Anaheim on Saturday.
