
Sharks captain Joe Pavelski made his hero's return to the ice Wednesday in San Jose's 3-2 win over the Avalanche in Game 7 to advance to the Western Conference final.
Before the win, however, former Sharks winger and current NBC Sports California analyst Devin Setoguchi, made a bold prediction for Pavelski.
"If I'm getting really specific here, I'm gonna pick Pavs on a tip on the first power play, set up by [Brent] Burns," Setoguchi said on Sharks Playoff Live.

Pavelski gave the Sharks a 1-0 lead at SAP Center just under six minutes into the game. And it came on a deflection from none other than Brent Burns. Setoguchi missed just one tiny detail.
"I got 95 percent of it right," he said after the win. "I said on the power play, but for whatever reason before the game I just had this feeling."

After missing six straight games with a head injury that required eight stitches, Pavelski was nothing short of amazing. Not only did he scored the first goal of the game, he also then assisted on Tomas Hertl's goal to give the Sharks a 2-0 lead.

“What do you say?” head coach Peter DeBoer said. “He’s a special player. A special guy.”
The Sharks will play the St. Louis Blues in Game 1 of the Western Conference final at SAP Center on Saturday night at 5 p.m. PT.
