The Sharks recalled forward Benn Ferriero from their AHL affiliate in Worcester on Tuesday morning.
Ferriero is Worcesters leading scorer with 20 points (9g, 11a) in 20 games.
This will be the second stint for the 24-year-old Ferriero with the Sharks this season after he played four NHL games in late October, scoring one goal. A native of Boston, he scored the game-winning goal against the Bruins during the Sharks 4-2 win there on Oct. 22.

The Sharks have announced that forward Marty Havlat will miss at least Wednesdays game against Tampa Bay, and maybe more, with a left leg injury. The Sharks are expected to update Havlats status later Tuesday morning.
In 61 career NHL games, all with San Jose, Ferriero has 15 points (eight goals, seven assists) and 17 penalty minutes.
