49ers' George Kittle and C.J. Beathard certainly are not forgotten when it comes to their alma mater of Iowa -- and they made sure of that:

Kittle is never one to shy away from a crowd and although there was a game going on with the Hawkeyes facing the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders, you couldn't tell if fans were there cheering for the matchup or for the players themselves.
Perhaps both.
That was until Kittle got on the mic to pump everyone up.

As he ended his career as a Hawkeye, Kittle wasn't exactly a household name. If you compare the numbers he has now, it's almost night and day. But Beathard led Iowa to a 12-0 season in 2015 and is now the 49ers' third-string quarterback behind Jimmy Garoppolo and Nick Mullens.

Either way, the two appeared more than happy to be back where it all began during a bye week -- especially Kittle.
