Vikings injury report: Adam Thielen questionable vs. 49ers; Stefon Diggs OK

The Minnesota Vikings received positive news regarding one of their star receivers on Thursday, but another remains a bit of a mystery ahead of their battle with the 49ers on Saturday.

Stefon Diggs was not listed on the team's final injury report, while Adam Thielen was listed as "questionable" with an ankle injury.

Diggs was back at practice after missing the last two days with an illness.

Diggs, 26, led the Vikings with a career-high 1,130 receiving yards in 15 regular-season games. He also scored six touchdowns and averaged 17.9 yards per reception, good for fourth in the NFL.

While Diggs appears on track to play the 49ers in the divisional-round playoff game, his running mate, Adam Thielen, still has some obstacles to beat.

Thielen was limited in Wednesday's practice after sustaining an ankle injury. The two-time Pro Bowler said Thursday on NFL Network's "Good Morning Football" that he "got a little tangled up at practice." NFL Media's Tom Pelissero reported Thielen received stitches on his ankle for a bad cut.

Thielen, who had seven receptions for 129 yards in the Vikings upset win over the New Orleans Saints in the wild-card round, certainly is aiming to play against San Francisco.

"I'm gonna do whatever it takes," Thielen said on "Good Morning Football." "You know, it's the playoffs so I'm gonna do whatever it takes to get out there on Saturday with my teammates and try to help this team win."

Thielen was limited to 10 games this season as he dealt with injuries. When healthy, he and Diggs are one of the best duos in the NFL. There's no doubt the 49ers expect the two to play, and are keying on ways to slow them down.
