The 49ers on Friday announced the signings of nine draft picks, including defensive lineman DeForest Buckner, chosen with the No. 7 overall pick.
Guard Joshua Garnett and cornerback Will Redmond, whom the 49ers selected in the first and third rounds, remain unsigned.
After the 2011 collective bargaining agreement, there became little room for negotiations. Each slot in the draft has built-in contract parameters.
