
Tony Sparano, who served as 49ers tight ends coach on Jim Tomsula’s staff, has accepted a spot on the Minnesota Vikings' staff as offensive line coach.
The 49ers granted all of the assistant coaches on Tomsula’s staff permission to seek jobs elsewhere while the 49ers continue their search to fill the head-coaching vacancy.
On Tuesday, former offensive line coach Chris Foerster took a job on Adam Gase’s staff with the Miami Dolphins. Also, former linebackers coach Clancy Pendergast was hired as defensive coordinator at USC.

Sparano, who previously served as head coach of the Miami Dolphins and interim coach of the Raiders, was Tomsula’s top assistant and helped him with game-management decisions last season.
