Formers Raiders quarterback Terrelle Pryor is scheduled to work out for the 49ers in Santa Clara on Monday, a source confirmed to CSNBayArea.com.
Pryor, the 2010 Rose Bowl MVP while at Ohio State, will hit the 49ers’ practice field for a tryout as a wide receiver, the source said, confirming an NFL Network report.

In June, the Cleveland Browns claimed Pryor off waivers from the Cincinnati Bengals. He made the Browns’ initial 53-man roster after appearing in just one exhibition game and not recording a catch. But he was released five days later when the Browns claimed running back Robert Turbin off waivers from the Seattle Seahawks.
Pryor originally entered the NFL as a third-round pick of the Raiders in the 2012 supplemental draft. He spent the first three years of his career with the Raiders, appearing in 15 games. The Raiders were 3-7 in the 10 games he started.
He was traded during the 2014 offseason and has not appeared in an NFL regular-season game since 2013 to prompt a position switch to wide receiver.
Pryor reportedly worked out last week with the Seahawks as a wide receiver. The Seahawks acquired Pryor as a quarterback in a trade with the Raiders in April 2014, but he was released before the start of the season.
