SANTA CLARA -- Quarterback McLeod Bethel-Thompson is rejoining the 49ers as a member of the team's practice squad, a source told CSNBayArea.com on Monday afternoon.
Bethel-Thompson was with the 49ers during training camp in 2011. The 49ers claimed him off waivers from the Minnesota Vikings in 2013. Offensive coordinator Geep Chryst worked with Bethel-Thompson during those times while he served as 49ers quarterbacks coach.
