Source: 49ers to sign tight end Logan Paulsen

The 49ers have been active as free agency opens for the upcoming 2017 NFL season.

San Francisco will sign Bears free agent tight end Logan Paulsen, sources told Fallon Smith.

Paulsen is considered an elite blocking tight end. He has 82 receptions for 816 yards and six touchdowns over six NFL seasons between Washington and Chicago, but the 30-year-old caught just three passes for 15 yards last year with the Bears.
