Quarterback Colin Kaepernick remains with the 49ers, as the organization has yet to receive its asking price in a potential trade.

The 49ers are “holding tight” in their demands, a source told CSNBayArea.com on Thursday evening. The 49ers have been engaged in talks with the Denver Broncos and Cleveland Browns. The New York Jets have also expressed interest, but the Jets' preference is to re-sign quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick, according to sources.

The 49ers are seeking a second-round draft pick in exchange for Kaepernick, Mike Silver of the NFL Network reported earlier Thursday.

The Broncos have the final pick of the second round (No. 63 overall), along with picks at Nos. 94 and 98 overall in the third round. The Browns’ second-round pick is No. 32. Cleveland’s third-round pick is at No. 65 overall. The Jets have picks in the second round at No. 51 and third round at No. 83.
