The 49ers' record remained the same after their Week 11 bye, but they fell two spots in the 2021 NFL Draft order.
San Francisco entered its bye week owning the No. 12 pick in next year's draft. Going into their Week 12 matchup against the Los Angeles Rams, the 49ers now have the No. 14 pick in the 2021 draft, according to Tankathon.
That isn't exactly a great spot for what 49ers fans seemingly want in the draft. The Faithful have fallen in love with BYU quarterback Zach Wilson, who threw four touchdowns in one half last Saturday. Wilson is the highest-graded QB in college this season, by Pro Football Focus' system, but Alabama's Mac Jones is right behind him.

Is No. 14 overall too high to take Jones? That's a big question general manager John Lynch will have to answer.
Jones is considered as the fifth-best QB prospect behind Trevor Lawrence, Justin Fields, Trey Lance and Wilson. All four players might be gone by the time the 49ers are on the clock if they have the No. 14 pick. However, Jones does feel like a quarterback who could shine in Kyle Shanahan's system.
The junior is a smart QB who might throw the best deep ball in college. He isn't going to run for a 50-yard touchdown, but he can make all the throws. Jones has 2,426 passing yards, 18 touchdowns and three interceptions through seven games while also completing 77.1 percent of his passes.

Shanahan has said he expects Jimmy Garoppolo to be his starting quarterback next season, so the 49ers could look at options outside of QB. But if the 49ers do have the No. 14 pick next year, Jones could make plenty of sense.
