Fred Warner has the same hopeful vision for 2021 as the 49ers fan base -- seeing a healthy Nick Bosa back on the field.
As the 2020 season comes to a close for the 49ers, the accolades have piled up for Warner. The linebacker received his first Pro Bowl nod and was named NFC defensive Player of the Week (16) for the second time in his career.
When asked what he was looking forward to most in the upcoming year, it wasn’t something Warner wanted to accomplish himself or even the team.

“Looking forward to having Nick Bosa back in 2021, that will be fun,” Warner said. “Yeah, I’ll give Nick a shout out.”

“He’s one of my favorite players I’ve ever seen play, so I’m pretty excited for that as well,” Kittle said of Bosa a week ago.
Bosa only played 68 snaps before suffering an ACL injury in Week 2 that sidelined him for the remainder of the season. According to defensive coordinator Robert Saleh, the edge rusher is in good spirits.
Bosa has been rehabbing in Los Angeles while living with his brother Joey, who plays in the same position for the Los Angeles Chargers.
