You might have noticed that George Kittle always turns it up to 11 on game days, and the star tight end takes it up another notch whenever a big play happens for the 49ers.
The 49ers had Kittle mic'd up for Sunday's win over the Houston Texans and caught him going berserk a few times, especially when rookie quarterback Trey Lance hit Deebo Samuel for a 45-yard touchdown pass.
Head coach Kyle Shanahan knows how out of control Kittle's celebrations can get and would prefer his young signal-caller beware of the fired-up pass-catcher.

"I would rather Trey avoid Kittle after plays," Shanahan joked with reporters Wednesday. "I appreciate the encouragement, but Kittle, for some reason, can't control his aggressiveness. Trey definitely can handle it better than me, but I run from Kittle after good things because he will not change how he hits people, no matter what."
Shanahan doesn't have a 100 percent success rate at avoiding Kittle, though, as the mic'd up segment showed the tight end pumping up his head coach.
"Whether they have pads on or not, whether they are on your team, he just gets too excited," Shanahan said. "So the best thing is to avoid Kittle in those moments because he is an injury waiting to happen."

After a shaky start Sunday vs. the Texans, Lance settled in and led the 49ers on four second-half scoring drives, helping deliver a 23-7 win that kept the Niners' playoff destiny in their own hands.
With Jimmy Garoppolo's status for Sunday's all-important regular-season finale vs. the Los Angeles Rams up in the air, Lance might be called on to make his third career start and punch the 49ers' postseason ticket.
While the 49ers' QB situation remains a mystery, one thing is certain: Kittle will be fired up Sunday in Los Angeles.
