Well, we know who Andre Iguodala wanted to be in a 49ers uniform: Aaron Rodgers.

For starters, Rodgers reportedly was convinced hours before Thursday’s NFL draft, he would be traded to the 49ers. But at this point it appears that’s not going to happen, especially after the 49ers took quarterback Trey Lance with the No. 3 pick in the draft.
The Packers reportedly haven’t engaged in any trade talks and naturally don’t want to get rid of the nine-time Pro Bowler. But 49ers GM John Lynch admits there was a phone call.
Iguodala, who spent six seasons with the Warriors, still is a beloved member of Bay Area sports and has supported the 49ers in the past back when Colin Kaepernick was the quarterback. He spent the day with the team sporting a Michael Crabtree jersey.

Rodgers has a State Farm Insurance sponsorship and one of the slogans they use, compliments of Rodgers, is “discount doublecheck.”
It then turned into a touchdown celebration where he would wrap his hands around the front of his quarterback handwarmer belt in the endzone after scoring a touchdown. He wanted to make sure he was allowed to celebrate, feel like a football player and do it safely.

We’ve seen some of the weird celebrations that have caused injuries before. He wanted to avoid that.
At least we know if the trade went through, Rodgers would have Iggy’s support.
