For the second week in a row, the 49ers (5-7) will play a "home" game at State Farm Stadium, typically the home of the Arizona Cardinals. San Francisco's opponent will be the Washington Football Team (5-7), which currently is tied for first place in the NFC East.

But coach Kyle Shanahan wants to prove that his group can withstand the onslaught of injuries that have hit the 49ers this season, and still earn a playoff spot. Washington also needs a win to maintain its lead in their division, so this is an absolute must-win for both clubs.
