Deebo Samuel has a funny sense of humor.
Prior to their matchup with Washington, a member of the 49ers staff was seen wearing a giant chain and medallion. Upon a closer look, you can see that it is emblazoned with a capital letter D. In a reverse shot you can the clasp is encrusted with diamonds and reads, “Deebo.”

A few weeks ago Ronald Blair, who has been on the Physically Unable to Perform list, was tweeting while watching the game.
Maybe this was Deebo's response?
Blair found the whole situation amusing on Sunday.
Not much can stop Samuel on the field, his yards after catch (136) totaled more than his receiving yards (133) facing the Rams. He was the top 49ers receiver in the team’s loss to the Buffalo Bills.

Lightening his load by having one of the 49ers staffers wear his chains, might give him the extra speed he needs to have a big game and allow him to get past the formidable Washington defensive front.
Unfortunately for Samuel, he suffered a hamstring injury on the first play from scrimmage against Washington and is questionable to return Sunday. But the 49ers receiver was seen on the sideline wearing a baseball hat while San Francisco was on offense, likely signaling that his day is done.
