Aaron Donald won't live this one down, will he?
The Los Angeles Rams' dominant defensive tackle infamously asked "Who's that?" when a reported asked how the Rams prepared to stop 49ers receiver Deebo Samuel. Samuel reminded Donald of that after Samuel's career day when the 49ers beat the Rams on Sunday, as did legendary 49er Jerry Rice.
The 49ers' social-media team got in on the fun Wednesday with a nod to "Jeopardy!"

Continuity issues aside -- a "Jeopardy!" clue would be written in the form of an answer, for starters -- this is some solid shade. After four straight wins over the division rivals, with Samuel catching 24 of 30 targets for 248 yards and a touchdown in those victories, why wouldn't the 49ers be confident?

Samuel was at his best against the Rams on Sunday, hauling in 11 receptions (on 13 targets) for 133 yards. The 24-year-old has never caught more passes or been targeted more in his NFL career, while he finished just two receiving yards shy of his professional best.

The 49ers also improved to 15-5 in the regular season with Samuel in the lineup, snapping a three-game losing streak and living to fight another day in the NFL's playoff race. As long as Samuel remains this important to the 49ers' offense, Donald is going to have a tough time forgetting the receiver's name and, perhaps, an even tougher time moving on from the fact that he once did.
