The 49ers' 20-12 win over the Arizona Cardinals included several standout performances which are reflected in their Pro Football Focus scores.
It was an inspired group effort as the 49ers rallied around C.J. Beathard’s return to the field as a starter. It was anything but normal for the 49ers who were the “away” team in their temporary home stadium in Arizona.
Roughly a year after his brother was stabbed to death, Beathard authored the best start of his career and his teammates followed suit. Jeff Wilson racked up an impressive 204 total yards, 183 of which came on the ground with an average of 8.3 yards per carry.

Wilson credited the offensive line as well as the wide receivers for his performance. The line not only opened up lanes for Wilson but also gave Beathard time and space to complete 13 of his 22 passes for 182 yards and three touchdowns. He accounted for more than half of the team’s offensive production (51.2%).
George Kittle looked like his old self in his limited snaps. The All Pro was on the field for 28 plays and outside of one drop, was very productive catching four of his five targets for 92 yards which accounted for 23 percent of the total offensive production.
On the defensive side of the ball, the 49ers sacked Cardinals star quarterback Kyler Murray three times. Kerry Hyder continued to raise his offseason price tag. He now has a career-high 8.5 sacks on the season.
K’Waun Williams was not only credited with a sack, but also two tackles for a loss, a pass breakup and a forced fumble. He also will be someone the 49ers will try to keep in the building in 2021.
