DENVER -- Backup defensive lineman Kemoko Turay will not be available Sunday night for the 49ers' game against the Denver Broncos.
Turay was excused from the 49ers' Week 3 game to "address a personal matter," the club announced on Sunday afternoon.

Turay is the fourth player the 49ers have ruled out for the game. Running back Ty Davis-Price (ankle), tight end Tyler Kroft (knee) and offensive lineman Daniel Brunskill (hamstring) were all ruled out due to injuries.
The 49ers remain hopeful standout defensive lineman Arik Armstead will be available for action. Armstead did not practice last week due to a foot injury.
The 49ers elevated 10-year veteran Akeem Spence from the practice squad on Saturday in case Armstead is unable to play.
Both Armstead and backup offensive lineman Colton McKivitz (ankle) are listed as questionable for the game.

Turay, a four-year NFL veteran, was promoted from the practice squad after the first week of the regular season. He was inactive for the team's 27-7 victory over the Seattle Seahawks last week at Levi's Stadium.
Turay registered a career-high 5.5 sacks last season in 13 games with the Indianapolis Colts.
