Will the 2020 NFL season start on time and be able to complete the full slate of games? That's the billion-dollar question.

Sherman and other NFL stars voiced their concern Sunday morning over the NFL's coronavirus protocols. The players want to see the league take greater steps to protect them.

The dozens of players who tweeted Sunday made it clear they want to play the 2020 NFL season, but don't feel the measures being taken by the league at the moment will protect them against the coronavirus.

Based on an email sent to teams obtained by NFL Media's Tom Pelissero, rookies are supposed to report to team facilities Tuesday, while quarterbacks and injured players must report Thursday. Remaining players have been told to report Tuesday, July 28.

But with safety protocols not agreed to, it's unclear if players will report on the designated days.

Both sides are haggling over how many -- if any -- preseason games to play. With the regular-season scheduled to start Thursday, Sept. 10, the league and the NFLPA have less than eight weeks to figure things out.
