Eric Mangini was the 49ers' defensive coordinator in 2015, and it appears likely he will remain in that role for 2016.
There is a "strong possibility" that Mangini will return to San Francisco under Chip Kelly, according to a report from Fox Sports' Alex Marvez.
As CSNBayArea.com's Matt Maiocco reported on Saturday, Mangini and Kelly have already met to discuss the position.

Under Mangini last season, the 49ers ranked 29th in the league in yards allowed.
Kelly's Eagles were 30th.
