Wide receiver Mario Manningham will miss the rest of the season after tearing both his ACL and PCL in the 49ers' loss to the Seahawks Sunday night, according to a report.
Adam Schefter first tweeted the news, which means the 49ers depth at wide receiver is now severely limited. Manningham and Kyle Williams, who sustained a torn ACL versus New Orleans, ranked 2nd and 3rd in play time among 49ers wide receivers in the first half of the season.
Manningham, 26, came to the 49ers after spending four campaigns with the New York Giants. He recorded 42 catches for 449 yards and a touchdown in his first season with San Francisco.
