The Kendall Hunter workout tour continued with a reported visit to the New England Patriots.
Hunter, the former 49ers backup running back to Frank Gore, worked out for the Seattle Seahawks this week and the Jacksonville Jaguars last week.
When asked this week if Hunter looks to be fully recovered from the 2014 ACL surgery, Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said, "Yeah, I don't think he would have come in for the workout if he felt like that. We wouldn't even have wanted to work him out unless he was full (speed). He ran hard, worked hard."

The 49ers are ineligible to re-sign Hunter this season because they agreed injury settlement more than five days after he was waived/injured. Hunter can sign with any of the other 31 NFL teams at any time.
Coach Jim Tomsula intimated this week the 49ers would not be interested in re-signing Hunter this season because they need players who are not returning from injuries because that position group has already been decimated.
Running back Carlos Hyde is out indefinitely with a stress fracture in his left foot. Reggie Bush is expected to be out four to six month after undergoing surgery to repair torn knee cartilage. And rookie running back Mike Davis is eligible to return in four weeks from a broken left hand.
