Mississippi State quarterback Dak Prescott was arrested early Saturday morning and charged with driving under the influence, the Clarion-Ledger (Mississippi) reported, citing the Starkville police chief.
Prescott said two weeks ago at the NFL Scouting Combine the 49ers were one of the teams that met with him. Now, the 49ers might have some follow-up questions leading up to the NFL Draft, which is scheduled for April 28-30.

When asked what teams talked to him about at the combine, Prescott said, “It’s more just talking ball than anything. I got a lot of the base getting to know me, base information, out of the way at the Senior Bowl so now it’s more things I want to talk about, they want to talk about, and that’s the football.”
Prescott (6-foot-2, 226 pounds) is ranked as the No. 6 quarterback by NFLDraftScout.com, and a possible draft pick in the third or fourth round.
